	L/Sgt. John Edwin George "Jack" Cunningham (S/N 4612416)
		L/Cpl. John Edwin George “Jack” Cunningham, formerly of the Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiment, served in No.1 (later becoming No.101) Troop of No.6 Commando from 1940 (Scarborough) until, at least, 6th September 1941. It is noted as being a Lance Sergeant from, at least, 26^th December 1942. L/Sgt. John Cunningham was Killed In Action (KIA) on 26th February 1943 , aged 29 years. He was the son of John and Ethel Cunningham, of Sidcup , Kent . John was laid to rest in Medez-El-Bab War Cemetery . Grave 1.A.5.
